I started hitchhiking at the Shell gas station, however two locals indicated me this spot as THE spot to go Southbound.Great place to pull over, but unlucky at night.
Finally got a short ride from Mathew, as I was walking in between cars stopped at the traffic light.

Ein super Spot, um Ganges nach Süden zu verlassen ( zum Beispiel nach Fulford Harbour). Jemand hat schöne Schilder aus Holz gebastelt, auf denen die möglichen Ziele stehen. Zieht einfach euer Schild aus der Halterung an dem Masten und haltet es in die Höhe. Nach spätestens 10 min sitzt ihr in einem Auto. Saltspring ist der tramperfreundlichste Ort, an dem ich je war!!!―Anonymous

There is a bus stop at this place, so it's quite easy for the drivers to stop to give you a lift. As it is very easy to hitchhike at Saltspring, it won't take you too long.―Anonymous
